Is it really possible to earn money online?

That’s a question I asked myself five years ago when I was browsing the Net one day and clicked a banner ad (like the ones you see at the top right of this page). I was directed to a ‘Get Paid To Read Email’ (GPT) site. And yes, you can earn money online reading emails, taking surveys, surfing at traffic exchanges, signing up for various offers, even playing games. If your spare time is limited then these kind of programs may just suit you and enable you to earn extra income online. Just be realistic and don’t expect to make thousands of dollars every month. A few hundred maybe, if you pick the right programs and manage your spare time effectively.

There are many other ways you can earn money online. One thing I have learned is that if you really want to earn a substantial income online, you should not put all your eggs in one basket, but have ‘multiple income streams’. In other words earn money from several different sources. As you enter the world of online opportunities and online marketing, you will find plenty of sites offering you the opportunity to earn extra income.

Whichever way you decide to earn your extra income online, you will need to spend time advertising and marketing your sites. You can find plenty of free advertising resources online, and you should make the most of these. It is also a good idea to use paid advertising sometimes. If you choose your method of advertising wisely, you can manage to get your site out there without breaking the bank.
